Present

A somatic guide, I work deeply to deconstruct and reconstruct physical and emotional patterns to help you move with more freedom.

Born and raised in Montréal, I have been teaching yoga since 2007, and somatic movement since 1995.

Past

I never considered being a yoga teacher but, the teacher found me.

Two decades of yoga study with trailblazing leaders have made me the somatic mentor, and trailblazer— that I am today.

Distant Past

A big part of my life was devoted to dance and somatics.

Before I found choreography, I battled in silence from age thirteen into my late twenties with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anorexia, Bulimia, and chronic depression.

The Somatic practices that I learned in the Contemporary Dance program helped me regulate my psychological state through somatic movement practices.

This healing experience is integrated into my Yoga Somatics trainings

Then physical trauma occurred between 2009 and 2011. I sustained series of serious injuries during two yoga teacher trainings caused by hands-on assists from teachers and trainees. Torn hamstrings, SI joint dysfunction and chronic sciatica, and then a serious concussion when a student fell on my head. That was it. I was forced to leave my dance career, quit teaching fitness and yoga, and rebuild my life. The valuable lesson learned— I am the authority of my own body.

My history with somatics has helped me embrace human connection.

Every person that you meet is a teacher who helps you rewrite the story of your past in order to live the new story of your present.

Somatic movement has helped me heal from conditioned behaviors that no longer served my evolution.

Somatic Movement rewires your unique, unconscious nervous system responses that kept you in fight-flight-freeze survival modes.
